  • At this time, we are only able to consider applicants who have right to work in the US.

  • eruka’s desire to cultivate equity across people and places starts within the organization itself. All paid workers will receive the same salary, based on the U.S. median income. When possible, eruka provides additional benefits based on need (e.g., educational loan payments, childcare vouchers).

  • Full time work is 20-25 hours a week (or 80-100 hours a month). Research shows working over this amount reduces productivity, quality of life, and mental health.

Respect Dignity

We recognize that anyone can reinforce existing hierarchies, injustices, and pain even when attempting to dismantle them. Adjusting missteps requires learning how positions, decisions, and actions are influencing others, making amends for harm caused, altering future behavior, and assessing whether the new actions reduce the experienced harm.

We recognize an individual’s imagination and options are shaped by societal ideologies and processes. Leading change requires altering societal standards to reflect shared values even when the outcome is uncertain.
